I'll have to add that to my TBR (to be read) List. I didn't know the Nigerian government wanted an apology. But yes, the movie was depicting particular Nigerians in a certain district. They even made a short documentary film about it. I guess if they made a sequel it would have to be set back in S. Africa again, but I doubt the Nigerian government will allow them to film there if they got upset with the first movie. I guess they'll have to improvise or forget about a sequel. I thought it was quite funny how the Nigerian government demanded an apology from the film makers because it showed Nigerians in such a bad light. I think there are a lot of references in the film that only people living in South Africa would get. One of which is the way Nigerians are portrayed I would guess. For that reason it was a brave decision to set it in S.Africa as it could have alienated the target demographic. I didn't despise the prawns, I felt for them and the predicament they were in.
